It's also undergoing some housekeeping at the moment, which shouldn't impact the puppyfiles....just don't walk under the ladder or some messy code might fall on you ;-)

TEENPup 2010 Mini Beta has been released, as of Feb. 2010.

Although developed mainly for the EeePC and netbooks, it's also compatible with newer PCs.
This release of TEENpup is based on Puppy 4.2.1 and includes Opera v.10. It should also be able to use sfs v3 modules without the necessity for conversion (thanks to Dingo for posting this compatibility chart).

For screenshots and further information, please visit this puplet's forum thread.

TEENpup 2009 LEGACY, information from the developer:

TEENpup 2009 Legacy was created for the PC User who has 1 or 2 computers at home who wants to do the same basic things most Windows users do. While it includes applications to allow it to be connected to a office network, TEENpup is aimed more at the home user and not the small business user and has not been tested extensively in a business environment. The main advantage over Windows and some of the bigger Linux distros out there is speed. Once you get used to TEENpup, you won't be able to stand the waiting for applications to open anymore like you did in the past.

Some key features:

DELTA PUP 1.6:   combines a sleek and elegant interface with speed and functionality and, from my experience with it so far, is a pleasure to use. It's a neat option to be able to use the GTKBasic Panel on the desktop too - attractive, yet tidy and unobtrusive....a beautiful, lightweight puplet.

Information from the developer:

It's based on Wow's 1.1. It also includes work from grey, mu, ttuuxxx, and others. It includes Firefox 3 and Thunderbird for E-Mail. Firefox includes Java and Flash and is very stable. The desktop environment is based on Xfce and is set up to be comfortable for Windows users. The screen shots give an idea of the look which is basically kept simple for speed. If you like bling, you will have to add it yourself. Some of the programs included are DirSyncPro, Filezilla, MuppyBackup, and MuppyFiler. It has the fixed version of AbiWord. The only known major bug is slow network file copy. Transparency effects are turned off by default, but can be enabled.
